Dr. Don is passionate about making a difference in peoples lives. Each year we provideSmile Scholarships to children and youngadults who are experiencing financial challenges so that they can receive orthodontic treatment at no charge.
Starting his practice in Novato was a natural fit for Dr. Don, as he is a fifthgeneration Californian. Dr. Don was born and raised in Cupertino, CA, and has always been very active in sports. In high school, he won many awards while playing tennis, and also taught tennis to children and adults. He stays active now by weight training and leading fun, fast-paced circuit workouts with a group of friends. Dr. Don supports sports locally by sponsoring many local youth teams. Dr. Don met his wife, Charis, in college. Whether at home or while traveling, they especially enjoy watching wildlife and spending time with their Havapoo (Havanese/Poodle mix), Heidi.
Overall, it is my goal to provide outstanding customer service with a smile! I really love watching our young patients grow up while helping to improve their confidence and smiles. I am truly grateful to work with such professional and excellent staff and a dedicated doctor from whom I learn so much!
Karen grew up in Novato and has 3 kids. Her son, Christopher, works with her husband Bill. Her twin daughters attended UC Davis; Melissa is entering the field of marketing and Megan (aspiring future orthodontist) works at our office periodically throughout the year. Karen loves exploring different states while camping with her family. Her Pomeranian, Cody, and 5 chickens also provide daily entertainment!
My favorite part about working with Dr. Don and his team is that they are so caring and confident. The warm office atmosphere makes you feel immediately welcomed and comfortable. Dr. Don is intelligent and witty, and I enjoy watching him and the team interact.
Tiffany was raised in Novato and graduated from San Marin High. She recently moved back to Marin from Fresno to be closer to her family and friends. Tiffany has worked in customer service for nearly ten years and truly enjoys making sure people have the best experience they can possibly have during their visit. Outside fo the office she enjoys spending time with her daughter Bella and their cats, Salt and Pepper.
Heidi is Dr. Don & Charis adorable Havapoo (Havanese/Poodle mix) born 3/25/19. Shes named after their Papillon who lived nearly 17 yearsand that Heidi was named after three of Dr. Dons Grandmas dogsthe special tradition continues. Heidi was born in Michigan in the loving home of Grandma Becky (Prides Puppies) and moved to California when she was 8-1/2 weeks old. She loves snuggling, playing with toys, and amusing Dr. Don & Charis while burrowing in pillow caves.
