I have been part of this great community for over twenty-five years now. Wow how time flies. I still enjoy coming to the office and seeing our wonderful patients. That has not changed since December of 1990.
My first six years of life was spent in Malaysia. I still love the South East Asian culture and food and try to visit periodically when I can. In 1970 our family immigrated to California and we have never left. I went to high school in Sunnyvale and attended San Jose State University as a Molecular Biology Major. I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the esteemed University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, graduating in 1990.
I have been extremely lucky to have travelled the world to fish such exotic locations such as Brazil, Guatemala, Bolivia, Costa Rica, South Pacific, Malaysia, Singapore, Bahamas, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Alaska, Canada, and the Florida Keys. Not to mention many other states in the lower forty-eight.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Northern California Dental Association, World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry, World Clinical Laser Institute, Academy of Computerized Dentistry of Northern America, International Association of Ozone in Healthcare and the Northern California Cerec Study Club.
I am a native to the area and grew up in Red Bluff, Ca. As a Junior in High School, I was lucky enough to start my career path in the dental profession and started as a sterilization technician and dental assistant in 2001. After graduating from Chico State University, I was accepted into the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco and graduated in 2010 with High Honors. While in dental school, I married my husband James. We moved back to the North State to start a family and our careers. I belong to the Northern California Dental Society, California Dental Society and American Dental Society.
When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with our two sons who are full of energy and bring us joy every day. I love being outdoors, camping, and getting in the occasional jog when I can. I am excited to work with the team to provide the best dental care to you.
I have been a part of Dr. Syns team since 2009 & I am fortunate to be an asset to such an incredible team. I began as an RDA, in 2013 I changed positions, I am now the smiling face that welcomes you at the front door. Ive grown & soaked up so much knowledge and now have the opportunity to wear many hats within our practice. I love that I am able to help wherever help is needed.
My heart is full with an amazing husband & 2 beautiful daughters. One of my biggest joys in life is the ability to watch life through my childs eye. We enjoy camping trips, lake days, riding... pretty much anything outdoors where we can make memories. As an Orland girl, I look forward to seeing you in and out of the office.
My name is Amy, I was raised in the Chico/Paradise area and moved to Orland 15 years ago. I am a mom of four handsome boys and two beautiful granddaughters! I enjoy spending time with my family traveling and camping adventures.
I recently joined this amazing team here at Dr Syn's and am very excited for my new journey here. I come to the office with over 25 years of experience in the dental field. I really enjoy what I do, especially helping out patients.
My husband, Steve and I moved to Orland in 2013 to continue his career in law enforcement. I was blessed to stay home and raise our children for 11 years. We have Hunter (14), Rylie (12) and Kinsley (8) and they attend Lake School and are involved in Lake 4-H, many sports teams and love to ride horses. As a family we like to fish the Sacramento River and cabin at Lake Almanor.
For me personally, I enjoy watching sports events, shooting hoops, crafting, throwing parties, goodwill shopping and getting a good deal! Watch out, I break for yard sales!! I am excited to be working part time here at Dr. Syns office where I can get out of the house and still be very involved with our kids and family. I will be working as one of the front office coordinators, so I look forward to meeting you and welcoming everyone with a smiling face.
I attended Butte County ROP for my dental assisting training, upon graduation received my X-ray andcoronal polish certification. Licensed by the Dental Board of California in 1995. I have27 years of experience as a Dental assistant with knowledge of the latest technology such as Cerec, 3d Dentistry, Laser Dentistry, Digital X-rays, Minimally Invasive Dentistry and Ozone dentistry.
Ienjoy spending time with my family. My husband is a PG&E Mechanic and we have been married for 24years.My daughteris23 years old, loves all animals, singing, acting, dancing, collecting rocks, hiking, camping, rafting, kayaking and is going to OIT for Radiology.

I enjoy taking continuing education classes that allow me to expand my dental knowledge and patient care is one of my top priorities.I am married with two beautiful boys, We love the outdoors and spending time as a family.
I obtained my RDA license in 2010 and have been gaining experience ever since. I love working in the dental field, and have learned so much over the last 10+ years. My daughter Julie is29 and is a Chico State Grad. My daughter Lisa is25 and manages the Dutch Bros in Orland and my son Steven is 22 and lives in Wyoming.
Ihave my A.S. in Dental Hygiene from Western Career College in Sacramento, CA. Prior to becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist I was a Registered Dental Assistant. I have been working in the dental field for a total of20 years.I enjoy camping, quad riding, scrapbooking, quilting, cooking and travel.I enjoy spending my free time with my friends,family andmy four legged kid Sofi, shekeeps me entertained and busy.

My name is Jennifer and I am a northern California native. I was born and raised in Corning and after experiencing life in Southern California, my family and the lifestyle called me home. I have an Associates of Science degree and a second Associates of Science degree in Dental hygiene.
