Dr. Smurthwaite is a graduate from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Hereceived a Masters Degree in Biology from Southern Illinois University and a Bachelors degree in Zoology from Brigham Young University. He has received advanced training in Laser Periodontal Therapy, Neuromuscular Occlusion from the Las Vegas Institute and Orthodontics from Invisalign and the Strait-wireAcademy.
Dr. Jeremy Starr was born and raised in the Sacramento area.Dr. Starr completed his education at Sacramento City College, California State University Sacramento, and completed his dental education at UC San Francisco.After practicing for a time in theState of Oregon,Dr. Starr decided to come and be closer to familyhere in Northern California.He and his wife have 4 children, 3 boys and a little girl, all under the age of 9.Dr. Starrs hobbies include playing the guitar, singing and snowboarding.
Dr. LaPierre, a Massachusetts native, attended Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts for dental school. Before attending Tufts University, he completed a bachelors degree in biochemistry at Brigham Young University. Dr. LaPierre is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.
Dr. LaPierre firmly believes in providing state of the art, relationship-based, comprehensive dental care that is tailored to fit into the lives of his patients. He looks forward to cultivating thoughtful and effective relationships with both patients and peers alike. He also believes in giving back to his community.
When Dr. LaPierre is not working he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Michelle, and their three energetic sons. They enjoy running, ultimate frisbee, camping, and swimming, as well as playing the guitar or piano together. He also enjoys participating in his local LDS Church community, watching Red Sox games, and perfecting his Boston Baked Beans recipe.
Dr. Daniel Loveland was raised in the beautiful foothills of Northern California. He earned a bachelors degree in neuroscience at Brigham Young University then continued with his dental education at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. Following dental school he completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency program in Shingle Springs, California, where he learned advanced procedures to help him better serve his patients.
Dr. Loveland appreciates modern dentistry and finds fulfillment in caring for his patients. He loves to learn and receive advanced training in many aspects of dentistry, and constantly strives to improve as a clinician.
Dr. Loveland loves spending his free time with his family. He and his wonderful wife, Ashley, have 7-year-old twins, a boy and a girl, who keep them busy and entertained. They love to travel, visit family, and discover new places along the way. Dr. Loveland loves to play golf with his son, dad, and brothers. He also enjoys playing basketball, wake surfing, playing board and card games, and reading.

Stephany moved to the Roseville area in 2001 from the Bay Area.She joined Smile Quest Dental in 2013 and appreciates working with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her husband, watching her daughters play sports, and going on weekend trips with her family. Her favorite hobby is scrap booking and enjoys having time with friends to get together and scrapbook her photos.
Prior to dental hygiene Stefanie worked as an RDA for 3 years until she decided to further her education in the dental field. She completed dental hygiene school at the top of her class and received the distinguished dental hygienist award. She loves what she does and strives to make every patients experience comfortable and enjoyable, while helping them achieve their dream smile. In her spare time she enjoys working out and doing anything to stay active. She also loves to just relax at home with her two very spoiled dogs.
