Dr. Lawrence Lau was born and raised in Stockton, CA and attended the University of California, Davis, where he received a bachelors degree in biological sciences. He then went on to pursue his dental degree way across the country in Philadelphia, PA at Temple University School of Dentistry. After many philly cheesesteaks and a dental degree under his belt, Dr. Lau returned to sunny California in 2008 and married his high school sweetheart the following year.
After settling back down in California, Dr. Lau worked for several years around the central valley to hone his craft. In 2015, Meadowbrook Family Dental was born, allowing Dr. Lau to practice to his philosophy of treating the person and not only their teeth. Of course, the practice also enabled him to nerd out with some of the most advanced technology dentistry has to offer.
Miriam started as a dental receptionist with no experience back in 2000 and has gained knowledge in every aspect of the dental office to help our team provide our patients with the best dental experience they can have at each visit. Miriam works hard to assure things run seamlessly and our patients and team members are happy. In her spare time, Miriam enjoys watching movies and spending time with her husband, their children, and pups!
Angie Hygienist Angie is originally from a little town in Southern Illinois called Ridgway, also known as the Popcorn Capital of the world. Growing tired of the midwestern winters, Angie gradually moved west to Phoenix, AZ, and eventually ended up here in Sacramento which she now calls home. When not working, Angie enjoys traveling, hiking, and staying active with community service clubs. Angie looks forward to meeting you!
Jen began her career in the dental field in 2011 as a dental assistant, working primarily in general dentistry and orthodontics. Jen enjoyed dentistry so much that she decided to further her education and become a dental hygienist. Outside of the office, Jen enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, DIY projects, and spending time with friends and family.
Sandy has worked in the dental field since 2013, when she found her passion for dentistry. She strives to give patients a comfortable, educated, and memorable experience. In Sandy's free time she enjoys the outdoors, going to Disneyland, and finding new adventures with her family.
Mariseli was born and raised in Sacramento, Ca. She is currently going to school to further her education and become a dental hygienist. In her free time, Mariseli enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
