The SOLEA dental laser is what practices across the country have been waiting for, and its available at Little House of Smiles. SOLEA replaces the dental drill many people are familiar with if theyve had a dental procedure done. The difference with the SOLEA dental laser is its not intimidating for children because it is very quiet, doesnt vibrate, and is virtually painless. Most patients dont even need anesthesia for the dental treatment with SOLEA.

SOLEA is used for most of the soft- and hard-tissue procedures at Little House of Smiles. Not only is SOLEA virtually painless, but the time each treatment takes is minimal compared to traditional drills. The healing time following each treatment is also less since its not as invasive as a dental drill. Most patients resume their normal life immediately following treatment with no downtime.

We are proud of the advanced technology we offer to our patients. But we take even more pride in building relationships with each patient who walks through our door. We truly want to play an important role in the overall health of children and we love seeing them feel comfortable and confident in their smiles.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) has developed clinical guidelines for providing the best oral healthcare for children starting at age one. A dental home reflects these guidelines closely and gives dental professionals a better opportunity to provide the proper oral healthcare children need. Another important concept about a dental home is the network of specialists available when needed.

Little House of Smiles has embraced the AAPD guidelines and loves the concept of providing kids and families with a dental home. By the time a child has their first birthday, they can begin shaping the outlook of their oral health and enjoy doing it when they visit their dental home.

Dr. Adamis number one goal when seeing a young patient for the first time is to create a great experience for them. She believes the first experience a child has in a dentists chair shapes their opinion of dentists for the rest of their lives. In her opinion, a childrens dentist office should be more than a place that cleans a childs teeth. It should be a place where kids feel comfortable and enjoy interacting with their dentist.

While attending the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Dr. Adami studied nano-medicine and earned a doctor of philosophy degree. She then attended Loma Linda University, California, where she finished her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Her induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon was a highlight, as well as graduating in pediatric dentistry with honors. In June 2020, she completed her pediatric dentistry post-doctoral residency training at Loma Linda University.

Kids dont always have a positive perception of childrens dentistry and orthodontics, but Dr. Hung always tries to make them feel comfortable. This comes with building relationships and having the childs and their parents best interests in mind at all times. When children have a good relationship with their orthodontist, they will look forward to visiting them. And since kids often need orthodontic work done for a few years, the time goes by much quicker when they enjoy visiting their orthodontist.

Dr. Hung has a family of her own whom she enjoys being around every moment shes not creating beautiful smiles at Little House of Smiles. She spends as much time with her husband and two children as she can and cherishes every moment. Even when those moments include dodging Lego pieces on the living room floor and wondering how her kids have so much non-stop energy.
