With over 15 years of experience in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Arpana Parti is committed to providing dentistry in a fun, caring, and efficient manner. She and her wonderful staff work with children for one reasonthey love kids. At Healthy Smiles, the goal is to guide these young patients and their families towards a lifetime of quality dental care.
Dr. Parti has lived and practiced dentistry in Bakersfield for nearly 20 years. She and her husband, local anesthesiologist Rajiv Parti, MD, have three children, Raghav, Ambika and Arjun. When she isnt working, Dr. Parti loves to travel, cook, and spend as much time as possible with her family.
Raised in nearby Bakersfield, California, Dr. Parti fell in love with dentistry early on working in her mothers dental office in high school. She went on to attend USC for her undergraduate degree, her masters in global medicine and then for her dental degree.
During her time at USC, Dr. Parti developed a passion for serving those without access to adequate health services. She spent much of her dental school time involved in the Mobile Clinic of USC helping providing free dental care to schoolchildren across Southern California. She was also heavily involved in the Dental Humanitarian Outreach Program, having traveled to Belize, Nicaragua and Cambodia. She continues to stay involved as a faculty member.
All of these experiences have instilled in Dr. Parti a drive to provide the highest quality of care to all of her patients. She especially enjoys working with young children and helping them address their fears of the dentist.
My names Jessica, I have worked with Dr. Parti for about a year now. I chose this office due to the fact that I love working and interacting with children. I am still a student, therefore my goal is to continue working in pediatrics, preferably in oncology sometime in the future.. Being in the field and seeing kids on the daily reminds me of my daughter, which makes me feel at home.
