Dr. Arleen Azar-Mehr, better known as Dr. Azar, completed her orthodontic training at the University of Southern California, where she also received her Dental Degree and her Masters Degree in Craniofacial Biology. Dr. Azar comes from a dental family. She is a third generation dentist. Her maternal grandfather was the first Dean of Dental School in Seoul National University in Korea. Her parents are both dentists and professors at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Her husband is also an orthodontist. In addition to her private practice, she previously taught at the Orthodontic Department at UCLA Dental School. Dr. Azar is currently the past of the USC Orthodontic Alumni Association. Dr. Azar is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists(AAO), Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists(PCSO), the California Association of Orthodontists(CAO) and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society (SFVDS).

I have worked in the dental field for over 40 years and I feel like this office is part of my extended family. I look forward to helping each patient and their family have a positive and fun experience at our office. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband Larry, my two daughters, and my two grandchildren. I also love to read, do gardening, and to hang out with my dog, rabbit, cats and chicken.
My name is Millie and I am the Treatment Coordinator at Dr. Azars orthodontic office. I have worked in the dental field for over 15 years and I have worked with Dr. Azar since 2008. I started working as a clinical assistant prior to being a Treatment Coordinator, so I feel that I can really help patients understand every step of what they will experience when they start with their treatment. I love spending time with my son, Riqy. In my free time, we love everything related to baseball and Disney. I also enjoy laughing, dancing, traveling, hiking and spending time with my family and friends.

I know from experience how much a smile can transform a person, because I was Dr. Azars patient when I was a teenager. Having my teeth straightened and getting the smile I always wanted was a great experience for me. I want to be able to be part of that same positive experience for our patients. In my free time I enjoy hiking, shopping and spending time with my family.
