Our practice was started over 45 years ago by Dr. Donald Schinnerer and has been owned by Drs. Cannatella and Moonka since 2017. Before that, they were associates at the practice, working closely with Dr. Steven Czekala.
Our address is 9301 Fircrest Ln., Suite #7, in San Ramon, CA. We are in The Fircrest Dental Center, near the intersection of Fircrest Lane and Alcosta Boulevard, and next door to the fire station. We are fortunate to have several dental specialists in our building, so our patients can receive comprehensive care in a familiar atmosphere.
Dr. Priyanka Moonka is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Contra Costa Dental Society. She has been practicing family dentistry in San Ramon for more than a decade. She has received certifications from Bioclear Learning Center for minimally invasive restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She has also received continuing dental education in orthodontics through the United States Dental Institute and is certified with Invisalign.
Dr. Moonka is a huge advocate of minimally invasive dentistry and believes that prevention is better than treatment. She believes in staying abreast with the latest technological advancements to deliver the best dental care to her patients. Dr. Moonka enjoys combining aesthetics with science to give her patients long lasting smiles.
Dr. Lisa Cannatella graduated with the Award for attaining the highest scholastic standing in her dental class at the University of California, San Francisco in 1993. She was awarded many honors and scholarships for her scholastic achievements, service to the community, leadership and research.
Dr. Cannatella holds certifications from the Bioclear Learning Center for minimally invasive restorative and cosmetic dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics as an advanced master level injector for dermal fillers and botulinum toxins. She is also a Gold Member provider for Invisalign. Dr. Cannatella views the dental profession as an opportunity and challenge to express herself in the art of creating beautiful smiles.
Dr. Cannatella is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Contra Costa Dental Society. She spends her spare time with her family, keeping current on new dental and facial esthetic advancements, design and gardening.
Dr. Catherine Motoyasu graduated from Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California. She graduated in the top of her class and earned membership into OKU Dental Honors Society. She has received continuing education through Kois Institute in Seattle and Spear Education and has Invisalign certification. Dr. Motoyasu strives to provide the best care for her patients and greatly enjoys treating pediatric patients. Her goal is to educate her patients and help them improve their smiles to make them smile even more.
After long consideration and 34 years in practice, I would like to announce my retirement as of May 27, 2021. After selling the practice to Dr. Cannatella and Dr. Moonka in 2017, my goal was to continue working to ensure that the transition went smoothly and Im very happy and proud to say that the mission has been accomplished. They have continued the tradition of quality,conservative dentistry in a familiar atmosphere. I know that Dr. Moonka, Dr. Cannatella and their incredible staff will consistentlyprovide you with the dental care that youve come to expect all these years.
